After the failed attempt to use the IP rights of the Amsler machines and to build up the production of PET blowing machines with the PET machine inventory at Uniloy benpac has bought back all inventory, all data carriers and computers as well as the entire PET machine inventory from Uniloy last week. Thus, benpac is the sole owner of all data and materials that went to Uniloy in 2021. benpac hereby reaffirms that it is the sole owner of the IP rights to the PET blowing machine data and will defend this ownership legally.
With this important step to create clear conditions that benpac owns the IP rights to the Amsler machines, benpac underlines its strategy to build PET machines again in North America and will return with a “next generation” version in 2023.
At the same time, we are pleased to announce that benpac has signed the preliminary agreements for the purchase of a property in Stoney Creek. The property will be benpac‘s new location in Canada, bringing together four companies at this site to expand the PET blowing value chain.
